My suggestion to fix climate change is asking Atlassian not to send notifications across email, Slack and various browser tabs every time the status of a Jira ticket changes from "in progress" to "in progress" 🙄
An email thread from Jira to me, telling me that the status of various Jira tickets has changed from "in progress" to "in progress".A Slack DM channel with Jira telling me that the status of various Jira tickets has changed from "in progress" to "in progress".The notification area in Jira, telling me that the status of various Jira tickets has changed from "in progress" to "in progress".

The dahlias are happy
A glorious pompom dahlia dominates the foreground, its petals showing pink, peach, orange and yellow. In the background, the sun shines on my fruit bushes.A bumblebee collects nectar from the flower on a Bishop of Leicester dahlia. The flower has petals that are pink, purple and white while the stamen in its centre are a rich golden colour.Another pompom dahlia, same variety as the first but a different plant. The petals on this one are a touch darker in their shade of pink, but the yellow and orange are stronger too. Just beautiful, intricate and endlessly fascinating to look at.

Surprising no-one, Legs & Co win the evening. It's like watching Boris Becker in his pomp. #totp

Hmmm? Oh nothing, just the forest burning on our dog walk last night. 😞🔥
A chalky footpath runs through heather and gorse in the New Forest. Two black labradors are walking along the path away from the camera. On the horizon a huge cloud of smoke billows from left to right as the forest burns in the distance.

Witness the triumph of my beetroot harvest (tennis ball for scale)
4 beetroots lie on a garden bench, their leaves resplendent and fresh soil falling from them onto the bench below. A tennis ball next to them, somewhat incongruous, but there to measure size apparently. Three of the beetroots are roughly tennis ball sized (let's be generous) but the fourth is a mega-beetroot, dwarfing the puny tennis ball with ease. Look on my works ye mighty and despair!
