Yesterday was new book day! I have been wanting to read We Do This 'Til We Free Us for ages, and the other is because I think I need to cook for Hamish. I'm just not having any luck finding food that doesn't make him sick in some way or another besides the fresh frozen I can't afford right now.

My statue I've been working on for months of the Goddess Danu is complete! She is 6 1/2 feet tall and mostly upcycled materials. :) Danu is the Earth Mother Goddess. 🌏💚

I just swept the floors and put Hamish's toys in the basket as I worked. He cried at me to get them out. He can do it himself, he just thinks since I ruined his feng shui arrangement, I should be the one to put them back where he wants them. #dogs

Hamish was so brave at the vet. Had to get his eyes checked, he has been having some discharge from them, & ended up w/ some ointment that is steroid if allergies & antibiotic if infection. Hamish does NOT like warm weather. It's only 72 right now ("feels like" 82), and we had to stop a few times and he drank water twice. In the summer we'll have to be walking in the dark at this rate! Poor guy.

Hamish is trying strawberries for the first time (organic strawberries were $2.50 for a large carton, so I bought one we can share). I think he is a little unsure. He took one off to the bedroom to eat, which he does with the best treats, but he didn't eat them all (I cut up three for him).
