iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

omg yeah timing can get me too! i don’t want to take it too early in the morning but sometimes taking it after my workouts feels too late. i’ve found that magnesium (glycinate is best if you do pills, but i do ionic) about an hour before bed has helped me feel sleepy if u haven’t tried that

this post brought to you by me getting too little sleep last night and Feeling It but knowing that a second coffee with Kill Me

020

and if i’m not sitting at my desk with the dreaded Document open right as peak focus kicks in then oops suddenly my emails have all been organized and answered but i didn’t do the Right task

they *do* work even if this isn’t true but they work in a “wow i fought with myself about starting that task for 10 minutes instead of 30“ way not in a “omg i am the most productive person to ever exist” way lmao. and that’s an improvement!!

i love when ppl who have never taken stimulants for adhd before are like “omg wow haha cheat code” or whatever bc like. nah dude i have to get exactly the right amount of sleep and protein and fiber and antioxidants and say a prayer if i want to be on top of my game lmao

You should be asking why Rockstar gets to do this and doesn't run into any issues with payment processors, while the rest of anyone drawing or writing "explicit content" on any platform have so much trouble getting paid

if all the routes have this much exposition in the early chapters… can i play the game. that being said the pivot from leda being like “i will kms if you dont let me have vengeance“ into capture the flag with olympia made me cackle lmao

i'm not really a big shooter person so i didn't have a whole lot of interest- until one of my friends was talking about it the other day so i finally checked it out :) it's very fun!!

the side buttons on my gaming mouse are my best friends and i need that but on the switch somehow... or any controller for that matter. yes i know about alternate controller options but the ones i've seen aren't really built for what i need

030

i understand the code is a pain in the ass and i can better modify things on pc which is why it's my preferred system but man i would like to enjoy my hobbies without having to contort my body and sit in a specific way that makes my legs go numb

140

like the switch will let me remap buttons for the *entire system* but i legitimately need to remap for specific games and the changes i need conflict with actually using the system. can i get some extra buttons so that i can use all the controls for splatoon like cmon

if a video game doesn't let you modify controls in the big year of 2026 then they shouldn't be allowed to sell the game :/

told my neuropsych “yeah it took several years of therapy but now i can identify my emotions pretty well” as if my dumb ass didn’t recognize that i was severely depressed until like a month after it was over

the language is definitely not super intuitive lol i think we should just call them what they are but “consumption-based” might have too much of a negative connotation

Ali 💥 @phenylethanol.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

iirc passive hobbies refer to hobbies where you’re consuming, where active hobbies involve creating something! so reading is passive but writing is active, for example. having a good mix of the two is good for your brain :)
