Godot progress is infuriatingly slow (I couldn't get all the details of the tileset to play nice with painting all the elements on the map), but I got this far at least. Lil' animated dude and a map with collision enabled.

Reading Small Gods and I'm scandalized to see that they use em- and en-dashes interchangeably. In one case, an interjection even had an em at the start and en at the end! Feels great to reach Pratchett again, though. Like slipping into a hot bath.

It's slow going, but I started chapter 3. Can I eventually figure out how to handle a longer narrative? We'll find out, come hell or high water.

Bound by law to fight. If you’re going to duke it out, we’d better find a cheaper venue, is all I’m saying.”
“Gods, no.” Dez laughed. “In principle, sure, but who cares about that? Blind fervor is above my pay grade. And below it, come to think of it. You’ll have to ask your feathered girlfriend over there which bracket she’s in,” Dez said, eyes glittering with mischief.
“None of your business,” Lyra replied, returning the serve with a sharp rebuke.

Feeling a little Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.

Many a world has fallen pray to the self-reinforcing cycle of growth-orgasm-growth.
