I do enjoy 'character rules'. Like how its 'impossible' for Pheal to get fat. His body is 'chemically innert' and so not only can he not get fat or poisoned or sick... he also cant taste, smell, and pain killers dont work. If he eats a burger, he just steams up like a Titan.

So I finally did the trendy rice cooker pancake trick. It was VERY pleasant, kind of a more delicate cake. Had to keep it cooking for another couple minutes so that the 'top' was properly set. Though thankfully flipping it over on a drying rack helps. Had it with whipped cream and strawberry jam.

Tried a fat ghost and gargoyle for halloween, they didn't really sell that well unfortunately. They were also a bit larger than 'mini sized'. More for my more 'interpretive' version of GMing using generalized zones. But I should probably give it another chance with something more 'marketable'.

Not only are the decks professionally printed on proper cardstock, they are even embossed with the 'dimples' used to create a nice air cushion effect for easy spreads and shuffling, and are overall less likely to stick! And to top it all off, BOTH decks are compatible with each other!

Having smaller episodic stories are great, even if there's a larger over arching B plot, you could technically watch them somewhat out of order and be fine. While this community mostly focuses on cartoons, this also includes 'normal' shows, like Columbo, Fresh Prince, The Golden Girls.

Using up bandwidth downloading some old favorite TV series. I'm not going to 'complain' about modern day TV series (TADC mini series is amazing), I do miss when you had 25 episode 'seasons' (and you'd expect a show to have around 60 because thats how many they always got, even for new shows)

This year has been REALLY GOOD for games, but I want to show you some games from the past couple years that might have slipped under your nose. ((Check Alt Text for mini review/description))

Maze Mice, it's SuperHot meets PacMan meets Vampire Survivors. Various cat enemies chase you around but only move when 'you' move. So it feels both well paced and hectic at the same time. It also has a bunch of very cute characters to choose from as well.

Cursed Words, Balatro meets Boggle crossed with muppets. Its your classic 'build your engine for massive points' type game, but it deals with creating WORDS. Though it also allows you to get absurd by bending and breaking the rules of spelling that include cards, numbers, chess pieces, and MORE. The tutorialization is also very fun as in several cases they just shrug at you saying "I dont know how this works" and you slowly discover fun combos in a satisfying AH HA moment.

Dread Delusions, a trippy "Oblivion-like" game with blood red skies, floating islands, magic, and a slight Warhammer feeling aesthetic as you talk to a robotic corpse in an iron maiden as it gives you orders.

Into the Restless is a dungeon crawling roguelike where you build out the dungeon between runs, trying to get it to reach various cloudy areas to find portals that will expand the area you can build, hopefully being able to reach the boss room at the end. You also have to place rooms with bonus abilities, power ups, and refills at strategic points so you don't run out of resources before you make it back.
