PSA: Starting August 31, 2026, Google is bumping the minimum Android version for new apps and app updates on the Google Play Store to Android 16 (the version from 2025). Depending on your tablet, some apps may become unavailable on the Play store.

Target API level requirements for Google Play apps
Starting August 31, 2026:

New apps and app updates must target Android 16 (API level 36) or higher to be submitted to Google Play; except for Wear OS, and Android Automotive OS apps, which must target Android 15 (API level 35) or higher, and Android TV and Android XR apps, which must target Android 14 (API level 34) or higher.
Existing apps must target Android 15 (API level 35) or higher to remain available to new users on devices running Android OS higher than your app’s target API level. Apps that target Android 14 (API level 34) or lower, including Android 13 (API level 33) or lower for Wear OS and Android TV, and Android XR, and Android 12 (API level 31) or lower for Android Automotive OS will only be available on devices running Android OS that are the same or lower than your apps’ target API level.

Lazy Nezumi Pro isn't just for rulers. It can also add fun pressure and position effects to your pen. You can find my LNP scripts and stuff at github.com/pharanbrush/... You can use it with CSP on Windows and, IMO, its stabilizer is way better than the one that CSP has.

The new frame bar and frame markers are making it into Animator's Gif Enjoyer Deluxe version 1.1 Right now, I have a bit of an interface decision to make. I might turn these into icon buttons if I have the right unambiguous-looking icons. Any ideas? #AnimatorsGifEnjoyer

Something changed in Clip Studio Paint 5.0 's Wintab implementation that broke compatibility with older versions of Lazy Nezumi. This LNP update fixes it. Great work as always, Guillaume!

It worked! But I have a bunch of things I need to tidy up. Also wondering if I should remove the specific mentions of GIF, since it technically also supports animated PNG and animated WEBP. And now (or publicly soon) AVIF.

I had to check because this was true in Affinity Designer 1.10 But yes, you can still copy and paste outline shapes from Affinity to Clip Studio Paint (and back). In Affinity, you have to enable "Copy items as SVG" in the settings. In CSP, you have to use "Copy vectors as SVG"

I notice people don't agree on what "lasso fill" means yet. I propose we call the lasso tool that makes a shape "lasso shape tool" and the lasso tool that fills the inside of existing outlines like a paint bucket "lasso fill" or "lasso bucket". #CLIPSTUDIOPAINT

I was interning at a nonprofit some years ago and I saw this crazy giant Wacom tablet with a tall aspect ratio at an old education center. I never figured out what model it was or what it was for.

It was a mad dash updating #AnimatorsGifEnjoyer You can now make the frame slider wider, and open folders with images sequences in them. Some fixes too. It'll take a while for the update to get certified in the Windows Store but if you have the itch .io version, you can get it right away.
