Very excited to announce that after over 15 months of struggle in this rough game industry landscape, tomorrow I start a new chapter as (Contract) Senior 3D Artist at Sony Santa Monica Studio! Beyond excited to join and contribute to such an incredibly talented team!

DLSS 5 faces look like old school Deepfake face swaps and now that I see it, I can't unsee it. Obviously I know that's not how it works at all (DLSS5 doesn't add or remove geometry; just alters textures and lighting) but in situ, it looks SO SIMILAR to those wonky deepfakes

It pains my heart that we may never see another BANKS & STEELZ album in our lifetime.

Still have a million things to do in the scene but still working diligently to try and get this scene shaped up! Going to take a stab at the ticket terminal, scene signage, and getting some foliage next! Lots to do, but really enjoying the scene is coming together! #GameArt #UE5

A little progress update on my Sci-Fi Tram scene! Material pass is next up! Also decided to change this to a night scene, which I feel like is working well bonus: you can also see the planet in the background much clearer due to less daytime Rayleigh scattering :D)

This past summer I joined an extremely talented group of developers on a UEFN (Unreal Engine for Fortnite) revenue share project — TMNT Builder Challenge #2 — and my team won FIRST PLACE! Super proud of what the team built and encourage everyone to give it a play! FN Island Code: 6425-5952-4668

A Gym, but a sports/activities gym. Somedays you come in and you’re throwing football WR drills and doing two hand touch. Then the next day a pickup basketball game. Then maybe organized dodgeball the next day. Hell, throw in European handball and ultimate frisbee. I need this.

When I lived in Oceanside, California there was this Taco Bell that was across the street from me that went against franchise recommended prices and had all sizes of their drinks just $1. I think about that Taco Bell often. It was the best.

Still working hard to find my next big adventure, but I have to admit I’m feeling pretty disillusioned. With 13 years of experience in the industry, creating solid work and being dedicated to my craft, it’s hard to process going on so long w/o even reaching a final interview. 1/

When season 4 of Stranger Things released, The Bear hadn’t released a single episode yet. As of this post, The Bear and Stranger Things both have exactly 4 seasons. And Stranger Things season 5 STILL isn’t out yet.

Long Legs is the movie equivalent of the David Cage game Indigo Prophecy. Phenomenally compelling, thrilling, creepy, first 2/3rds that utterly and completely falls on its face in the last third. Very disappointing.

This is a sentiment only parents might understand but today I chose how to interact with a machine specifically on how loud I knew the buttons were when I pressed them and that’s a level of critical thought I never thought I would have to utilize in my brain.
