MAGIC HAPPENS WHEN… YOU LET GO OF FEAR

a really sick picture that someone (i think it was hal?) snapped from a recent petsitter gig at mr. smalls. guitarist wearing a black jumpsuit with mesh sleeves, and bassist wearing a sheer white dress are playing white instruments. the photo is taken on film, and it has some interesting artifacts

all i have ever wanted is to make you feel like you are walking into the bronze from buffy the vampire slayer ✨✨

Anyway. I showed up on a Wednesday just after the show started because I live on the other side of town and Pittsburgh is a logistical nightmare at best and labyrinthian cosmic punishment at worst. And with the NFL Draft coming up, everything is, in fact, worse. First act up was Petsitter, a dreamy ’90s alt rock group from town that felt a lot like Mazzy Star’s tougher side. Good start—I love walking into a venue and feeling like I’m at The Bronze from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Petsitter also had really cute handmade keychains for sale at their table. Everyone should be making adorable things to attach to their purses.

new single out on bandcamp today ✨ happy solstice petsitter.bandcamp.com/track/december

cropped version of the album art for the single “december” by jules page. the first post got labeled “explicit content” so i altered the art so it won’t get filtered out of people’s feeds, doubtless preventing all dozen of the people on here from learning about my music

the art is a photo of a nude woman kneeling in front of window with palms open, facing away from the camera. the picture is in faded sepia. it is zoomed in so you can’t see her butt

i fixed it 🙏

the artwork for the single “december” by jules page that i just released on bandcamp.

the picture is of a nude ethereal woman with long hair, kneeling in front of a window, palms open, facing away from the camera. the photo is in faded sepia. it was labeled as “explicit content” because you can see the lady’s butt, but i swear it is very tasteful and artistic nudity.

however, to preserve the delicate sensibilities of my lovely followers, i have censored the image with one of those “parental advisory” stickers, reminiscent of how nicki minaj did with the cover of “anaconda”. then i added “NICKI MINAJ ANACONDA” to the top. they are basically the same picture now

Re: Singer. Songwriter working on a new album (Munhall)

Does anyone know why this guy keeps posting this?
He's been doing it for no less than 5 years and the guy who owns the YouTube channel claims it isn't him.

oh yeah i forgot to mention that my goofy little solo album got released over the weekend. release show was a dream. more petsitter shows and news coming soon xoxo (@milkshakemotel.bsky.social @annelyse.bsky.social) petsitter.bandcamp.com/album/10-sim...

i'm sitting on the floor on the small green carpeted stage, playing my omnichord and singing into the microphone. my pals who played the show with me are seated on either side singing backing vocals.

posing on the stage with annelyse and rose, the two pals who played the show with me. we're all wearing flowy whimsical outfits—not matching, but vaguely coordinated—and none of us are actually looking at the camera

the three of us hugging after the show. the tiny venue is a thrift store by day, so you can see the racks of clothes in the background. it's mostly empty after the show, but there's a couple people still hanging around. we all look overjoyed. i am holding a can of seltzer.
