What do you think Bridie? He’s done such a good job imo, within my budget and his quote.

Before painting of my old house showing paint and steel degradation causing rust and other discolouring on balcony and dark.grey paint.

Front of house re painted in Shale Grey and Mt Aspiring white after a lot of work by painter trying to fix the rust and concrete cancer ❤️

Just wondering if you tried one of the concertina like plungers? My plumber son in law used a mop for my toilet too, then arrived next day with this contraption. Specific for the purpose apparently. Never seen one before, easy to clean and saves on mops.

A purple plastic concertina like plunger useful in unblocking toilets.

So on FB yesterday, 3 old friends of > 25 yrs, shared the site below + in comments rhetoric against the new Vehicle Emissions Standard. The comments bordered on vile, and the group rules 🙀 I’ve had to unfriend them,

Yep yum, but usually alternate years when it’s our turn to have Xmas. It keeps if you peel back skin to carve, replace and keep in fridge in a pillowcase soaked in vinegar and wrung out. Don’t ask me why, family tradition that’s never been questioned. Except by Tom, photo below sent today

Michael Leunig, don’t know anything about the shit he’s been accused of as an old man, loved his many cartoons that helped me and my school kids understand the world.

Fuck now Michael Leunig has gone too, as well as John Marsden. Teachers all over Australia must be devastated, as am I. We used his works to teach visual literacy, and how to view the world. Vale Michael sending love and condolences to your family and friends you’ll be missed.
