Hey iPhone, maybe I wouldn’t be out of storage space if you didn’t insist on using over 30 Gb yourself. Presumably for surveillance data / to force me to upgrade. :( I would move to android but I’m not sure it’s better there and more importantly I don’t want to upgrade.

Out of the 4 issues that required contacting 4 different customer care teams the same mid-July week: 1 is fully closed, 2 seem to be almost resolved and 1 is still in the ether. It’s certainly made me rethink how much I need ‘stuff’ before I buy it.

It would be lovely if I could make changes to my flight online after it’s been moved from 5 pm to 6 am. Instead I have to call and have been listening to the same 50 seconds of music on repeat for 2+ hours. Not unheard of but usually I choose it and the sound quality doesn’t hurt my ears. 😬

My friends’ dog went to the groomers for the first time and all his head puppy fluff is gone!

Same English cocker spaniel, still at 7 months old, but all the lighter fluffier fur is gone from his face, giving his a more adult look.

During my many neighborhood walks I map out all the free libraries I see. I finally added them up. I found an astounding 49 book libraries within a 45-min walking radius. Plus 18 for food, art, fiber, pets, etc.

Looks like I’m in a “need to surround myself with books” phase again. I will inevitably return to “i have too many things it’s declutter time” and return these books to the free tiny library ecosystem from which they came. All in all, a cheap hobby.

I’m comforted in my decision to live in the part of Canada with the mildest weather. The snow and freezing might be a little less annoying if there wasn’t salt attacking Bucky’s paws to avoid but I’ll be glad to see the rain for a few days.

Slipped and fell on the ice on Monday. No concussion, small mercy from 2025. Sore muscles made it tough to move on/off the bed for a day but now the pain is mostly gone. Body is just really really tired. So tired my brain is not even doing its usual overthinking. 🤯
