Yeah, it reminded me of that too. The big difference is that the album was outright free and I still think that was wrong. They're not even giving you audio books here though - they're giving you a theme to tell you that you can buy them, basically.

Maybe don't "celebrate" the release of any commercial product by forcing it onto a device I bought and paid for? This is an ad, plain and simple, and if you're advertising on my hardware, then that hardware better be free.

Congrats! You definitely deserve it!

I have a new name for these guys now! Will have to go say hi to them next time we're at the zoo.

I have no idea how I ended up with two of them to begin with.

010

Petie @petie.spriters-resource.com · 26/06/2026

There's actually a reason for having three - each is a different build of the game.

Look at me, actually thinking to post something for once! I dug out my childhood N64 collection this morning and figured some of you might enjoy seeing it as well!

Mostly well* - I have already had three or four DM requests asking why they can't chat in the sprite trading server...

Petie @petie.spriters-resource.com · 22/06/2026

We do that already but nobody actually reads the rules. I did implement a potential solution to this problem today though so we'll see how it goes!

010

Petie @petie.spriters-resource.com · 18/06/2026

That's actually exactly what we did but I don't think anyone is actually reading that part of the server description.

I don't play Fortnite, but it seems they've added something called "Sprites" to the game. And so now the Spriters Resource Discord server is getting a bunch of kids join, assuming that "sprite" is a unique word to Fortnite. FML.

Quick, someone play the song!

Looks amazing! I saw this pop up on my timeline, immediately went "that's some damn good pixel art", and then realized who posted it and it all made so much sense.

Joey just asked me to also tell you happy Mother's Day and that he can ride a bike (with training wheels, currently) now!

What a coincidence! I am also not in Norwich and I will also be there on Saturday! Small world.

I always love to see some good pixel art! This is awesome!

They're still making .hack media?! I should really get around to playing the rest of these. I started the first one ages ago but never finished it.

This was such a cool shoot - love these photos! For what it's worth, Bistin and I both agree that it wasn't just back then that you were pretty though 💕

Hey, I realize I'm rather late here but let me know where you're struggling with the navigation and perhaps I can help!

No idea why it still catches me off-guard that you can make such incredible pixel art given your history. This and the other are both fantastic!

Well, it took a while but I'm happy to say that things seem to be stable once more! Everything barring data submitted after midnight Eastern last night has been successfully restored and the sites are no longer running at a crawl. Thank you all for your patience!

I have never worn them but from Kristin's description to me, this sounds spot on.

Absolutely. I love real Mexican food and I love Taco Bell. They are entirely different things and there is no reason you can't enjoy both of them!

Petie @petie.spriters-resource.com · 30/08/2025

Doesn't mean you can't be annoyed about it though. Changing a commonly accepted definition, even if it's allowed, still isn't right.

010

Petie @petie.spriters-resource.com · 29/08/2025

I've always gone by 90-93 = A-, 94-96 = A, 97+ = A+. Thought that was pretty standard. So yeah, I'd be annoyed too.

Figured I should finally use my account to mention that we are well underway with the migration to our new version of The Spriters Resource and its sister sites! We'll be live with the launch on Twitch this Saturday at www.twitch.tv/thespritersr... :)

Makar's was painful... So was the original Triforce chart hunt and the wind direction mechanic for sailing. Wind Waker HD fixes a lot though and is definitely worth checking out if you can.

Petie @petie.spriters-resource.com · 16/07/2025

In Wind Waker? They weren't all great by any means but I really liked Medli's puzzles (even if the carry/escort stuff did get old at times).
