We finally got some communication and now I'm sad

An important announcement from Tapas, reading:

"After more than a decade, the very difficult decision to wind down the Tapas platform has been made.

We know this news may come as a surprise to the Tapas community, and we understand that this is a significant change for the readers, creators, and partners who have been part of Tapas over the years.

With this transition, Ink purchases will no longer be available starting October 1, 2026. Users will be able to use any remaining Ink until the end of service date.

The end of service date is March 31, 2027.

Thank you for being part of Tapas and for making this community what it is today. We’re incredibly grateful to the creators who trusted us with their stories and to the readers who supported those stories and helped them reach new audiences. The countless stories, connections, and communities built here will always be an important part of Tapas."

The whole Tapas shutdown thing is frustrating because the sources are always from third party news websites, and never from Kakao or Tapas themselves. My kingdom for some communication

Been thinking of setting up an RSS feed for my comic, but I've never used an RSS feed before so I have no idea how they work lol. Very useful reference!

Happy #Webcomicday! Please consider reading my comic: Mage x Witch! A short-form gag strip comic featuring the magical couple: Galem the Mage & Vivian the Witch. Lots of jokes about Potions & Spells with a touch of romance! You can find it on Webtoon Canvas, Reddit, or here on my Bluesky!

Mage x Witch - Cat Cleanup: A 4 Panel Comic

Panel 1: Vivian is holding some tufts of black hair. She has a tired/whining expression: "Ugh, I keep finding Gloop's hair all over, I don't wanna clean it all up!"

Galem looks excited: "I've been working on a spell for this!"

Galem has his staff outstretched towards the viewer, the tip of the staff breaks through the panel. His eyes glow pink as pink energy coalesces towards his staff. He speaks an incantation: "Kai-Toh Toh-Ar Kai-Ko Toh-Ohn Kai-See Ar!"

Glowing strands of cat air are suspended in the air, floating towards Galem's staff. Both Galem and Vivian look happy and excited.

Galem: "It's working! All the cat hair in the house is being pulled to my staff!"

Vivian: "My Hero!"

Panel 4: Galem and Vivian look shocked/distraught as Gloop himself flies in from off-panel being pulled towards the staff (since he is, afterall, covered in his own hair).

Mage x Witch - Heartfelt Gift ; A 4 Panel Comic

Panel 1: Galem has his hands behind his back and is blushing. He says "Hey Vivian, I've got something for you!"

Vivian looks back at him shocked that there's a surprise.

Panel 2: Galem pulls out a bouquet of flowers, and Vivian gasps excitedly and blushes in response

Panel 3: Vivian is admiring the bouquet, and blushing slightly. She says "Oh Galem! Thank you so much! They're Beautiful!"

Panel 4: Vivian immediately turns around and dunks the the bouquet into her bubbling cauldron with a sploosh! She says "They're also the last reagent I needed for a potion I've been wanting to make! The Recipe calls for a Heartfelt Gift!"

Galem has his eyes closed with a smile, in a defeated but not angry look as he thinks "I should have expected this...". (He's not upset as he's also visibly blushing, he thinks it's a bit funny)

Mage x Witch - Midnight Flight, a 3 Panel Comic

Panel 1: Three Witches are silhouetted against the light of the moon in the night's sky.

Panel 2: Two witches, Lilac, and Gwinarra, are looking towards the third, Vivian, who is in the foreground.

Lilac says: "Vivian, you know we have no problem with you dating a mage."
Gwinarra adds: "Yeah, we like Galem"

Panel 3:
Lilac says: "But did you have to take him flying with us?"

Galem is sitting comfortably with one leg crossed over the other in a magic flying chair. His head is resting on his hand and only the glint of his glasses can be seen, giving him a mysterious appearance, or at least an appearance of trying to look mysterious.

Gwinarra yells: "He's cramping our style!"

Happy #WebcomicDay from @rabbitthewriter.bsky.social and myself, the duo behind Writer and Muse! Inspiration comes in all shapes and forms, but if you're Sandy the Writer, it comes in the form of her shape-shifting purple Muse. A comic about the writing process and creativity! writerandmuse.com

Panel 1
Sandy holds a purple cube at a writing desk.
Sandy: Why's it called Writer's Block anyway?

Panel 2
Sandy looks surprised as the cube lifts from her hand and starts to lose its rigid shape.

Panel 3
The cube is transforming into a blob that resembles a human.

Panel 4
The transformation is complete as the blob is now an ethereal purple woman with long floating lavender hair. This is Sandy's Muse.
Muse: Because "Writer's Clog" sounds stupid.
Sandy stares past her muse, frowning at this unhelpful burst of inspiration.

Panel 1
Sandy looks eager, her muse matching her expression.
Sandy: I'm inspired! Let's write!
Muse: Let's clean first!
Sandy: Okay!

Panel 2
Sandy washes dishes with a smile, her muse helpfully holding a sponge.

Panel 3
Sandy sweeps while grinning, her muse holding the dustpan.

Panel 4
Sandy's Muse points out a dusty spot, Sandy dusts, her enthusiasm never waning.

Panel 5
Tired but satisfied, Sandy wipes her brow.
Sandy: Okay, ready to write?
Muse: Do what now?

Panel 1
Sandy paces as she comes up with an idea; Muse sits on a nearby desk.
Sandy: Maybe I should write animal fiction.

Panel 2
Muse starts shifting form.
Muse: I've been waiting for this!

Panel 3
Muse continues to shift into a vaguely feline shape.

Panel 4
Sandy reaches out to where Muse sits as a cat now.
Sandy: Muse?
Muse: It's "Mews" now.

Panel 1
Sandy and Muse walk through a magical rain in a field of purple flowers.
Sandy: A Brainstorm!

Panel 2
Sandy reaches out to one of the flowers that have popped up in response to the brainstorm.
Sandy: Look at all these ideas popping up!
Muse: You're welcome.

Can you believe that the unnamed company who makes the unspecified brand of e-reader that my fictional character purchased in the year 2013 would depreciate their older products in favor of ones that are way worse (allegedly) #art #oc

Sanry looks quizzically at his e-reader, asking, "Why stop supporting a perfectly functional product?"

Erron nervously replies, "Uh... I don't think this is a good idea."

A.G. asks, "Whatever do you mean?", as an assortment of characters gaze warily at the villains across the room from them.
