The Abzorbaloff, a big green partially naked beastly alien creature, from the science fiction series, Doctor Who. Its arms are outstretched. It is holding a cane. It has the faces of human beings it has absorbed popping through its body. Its entire vibe says "TA DAAAA".

Some tidings, mateys. I’m Blackbeard in Civilization VII 🦜 Getting to bring Edward Teach to life in this legendary series was an absolute dream. And blimey, just LOOK AT HIM! My bloody beautiful piratey boy! Loads of people to thank, not least the best damn narrative team in the biz...
A promotional poster for the video game Sid Meier's Civilization VII featuring the pirate, Edward Teach. He stands in the foreground with a long, braided black beard and a menacing expression, wearing a black pirate hat with gold rim and a lovely long coat. He's holding a cutlass over his shoulder. The background shows a sunset over the ocean with sailing ships. Text on the poster reads: "Edward Teach, Pirate Captain, 1680 - 1718 CE"

Low angle photograph of me, a bearded male approaching his 40s, in a pirate costume because I’m super basic. But I’m giving you a big smile and firing approving pointy fingers at you. Happy Halloween.

obsessed with the Time Lords’ new media wall
It’s a courtroom scene. There’s a big old screen attached to a wall. A delightful dude with a goatee is having a great time (it’s the Master). A load of bewildered actors look on.

Ho there, my vintage sci-fi lit squad. Had a lovely time narrating the first few books in James White's remarkable Sector General series. Prefer your space adventures pulpy, brimming with ET medical mysteries, and with added dinosaur? These are your cosmic jam: www.audible.com/series/Secto...

An AI generated image from a Green Party social media account. There are three cartoon figures with questionable limbs. One seems to be zapping himself in the face with a charging cable. The text reads “who you gonna call? Green Mythbusters”. I’m sorry, but what the fuck?!

"Vote for me, if you don't then you deserve what you get" Admitting you've been ignored for 23 years is a bold play in politics. But this champion slowly drove along in a Range Rover while a lovely elderly lady hand-delivered these masterpieces, so they've got my vote.
A very basic folded A4 pamphlet on plain white paper. The text is presented in a serif font. Some elements are redacted.

The text reads:

There is a certain amount of corruption goes on within the commission, I have been the victim of it myself but I can't say anymore about that because it was discussed in private.

There has been a lot talk over the last couple of years about a new toilet by Tesco (redacted) but nothing has been sorted yet - To much talk not enough action.

I have got to try and stop this waste of time and money

So if you think I am still up to the job vote for me, if you don't then you deserve what you get.

YOUR POLLING STATION IS THE PUBLIC LIBRARY IN THE TOWN HALL
The polling station will be open from 8am till 8pm.

Someone, please, just thank this person for the altered tables. (more rubble)
A very basic folded A4 pamphlet on plain white paper. The text is presented in a serif font. Some elements are redacted.

The text reads:

Here is a few of my ideas that no notice was taken of -

The reason a few years ago to destroy (redacted) was they had no fire escapes. I told them how to sort that out (took no notice) Now we have a very expensive heap of rubble.

We had the offer of a possible swap of the bus station for the ground we have just bought to make a new bus station, and we could have the old one as a huge building site and the busses would have no more bother at race times. No notice was taken.

I suggested the new (redacted) be heated with oil (still the cheapest) so they went for gas.

(Redacted) was closed down because the flats were said to be to small. Two flats could have been knocked into one, a lot cheaper than knocking down and re building. Its going to be knocked down (more rubble)

Now what have I done for the town apart from fight against stupidity and try and keep your rates down.

I provided one hundred thousand pounds for a skate park for the kids.

I saved seventeen thousand pounds altering tables in the town hall that I got no thanks for.

TOWN COMMISSION ELECTION
Polling Day Thursday

I am eighty years old now, not very mobile and I have been one of your commissioners since 2002. I think I have served you well so I am asking you to vote me in for another term.

There is nothing wrong with my brain and I have never been afraid to speak my mind, common sense I'm afraid is not very common. I have put ideas to other commissioners and eventually they sink in, then they claim the ideas for their own.

Please ask previous commissioners what they have done for (redacted town name) apart from wasting your money and painting toilets silly colours.
