Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 7hWe are all over-looked charity cases after all! 😉 000
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 7hYeah, but it would be just as unsatisfying. 000
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 7hI thought those screens stayed on even when the devices were off? (Because that technology doesn’t need power.) 010
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 10hNevertheless, I still have a problem with all these prequels ostensibly fleshing out things we already know. “A lot of good people died bringing us this information.” Give us a new story! Be brave!! 110
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 10h Agreed. I almost didn’t watch it at all, because neither of the opening episodes were compelling. But other people kept raving about it so I went back and stuck it out. It does make a good trilogy, as it were, with Rogue One. 120
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 11hI'd think twice about that one - mildew is not so good for the lungs! 010
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 12hCold enough here overnight that the building put the heat on. But yeah, wonderful weather! 110
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 12hThis is where I see AI adding value - allowing a creator to more easily create things without needing heavy technical skills. Having said that, it remains to be seen whether this platform has what it takes. 010
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 12hAnd for that, any of them - they all look like they have some interesting stories to tell! 000
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 13hIf you’re reworking it, I’d suggest only shading the things that are actually black first, then adding the color, *then* shading the colored areas. If that’s not too intrusive! 010
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 13hAlso on the “coulda” front, making those tentacles a lurid red or purple would really make them stand out! 000
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 14hFor myself, I actually start all my artwork in stark B&W, but I’m working digitally, and then I color in the black bits as well as the white bits. And, of course, I rarely use solid color, mostly blends. 000
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 14hI think you think in B&W, and you’re always cross-hatching things, so all the shadows are in there before you even get the paintbox out. (Here, for example, you could have painted the floor a dark color, rather than shading it first.) (Observation, not criticism!) 200
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 14hI will always prefer color, but the B&W one is a bit easier to parse. 230
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 14hDigesting her last meal, or waiting for the next one to print out. 150
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 14hYes, but you’re not a lizard, by the looks of it, so you’re in the clear to evolve nipples if you want. 010
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 15hThere we have to part ways. If you want to feed your reptile babies, you should regurgitate your food like a regular reptile. (Or whatever it is that regular reptiles do - I honestly don’t know!) 220
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 07/10/2026So many books in the world, so little time to read them! 010
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Also, I really like the Caribbean thing of just saying Hi to everyone! (Well, “Good morning/afternoon/evening, how are you?”) 000
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 07/10/2026And if I were to worry about looking stupid, I wouldn’t be able to go out! 100
Peter Sealy Art & Photography @petersealy.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I have, for certain, upset quite a few people over the course of my lifetime by *not* greeting them (poor eyesight and/or terrible memory), so now I’d rather cordially greet someone I don’t know, and err on the side of caution. 120
