The new Annie and Sandy were revealed today during a ceremony honoring the 50th anniversary of “Annie” which made its debut on Aug. 10, 1976 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam. Annie is Laiken Jules and Sandy is a rescue dog from Florida. The show runs from Oct. 30 to Dec. 27.

Butter and sugar corn is awesome. Got silver queen the other day. So not good. Maybe picked too early? We’ve had local corn since before July 4 this year which is so early. I was not complaining!
