I have seen the results from two tornadoes in WA. They are too infrequent and unpredictable for specific warnings but they always occur when there is a severe weather warning. The conditions that allow a tornado to develop already has very strong winds.

OK, so to eat all of what is edible you boil or steam to recommendations. Have some melted butter for dipping. Pluck the outer "leaves"and dip in butter, Then you use your teeth to scrape the soft edible part at the base. As you get further in you get more soft and edible. Middle bit is to die for.

It doesn't matter who I vote for, we will end up with the utterly useless Rick Wilson who has followed the path of people born into farming but couldn't actually cut it, so they go into politics to prop up their farming efforts. We have a group trying to organise an Indi, but they're not ready yet.

Simple. If their website doesn't clearly state their policies they aren't worth your 6th preference. Just vote Greens or a decent Indi (and you will well and truly know if you have one) and after that your vote ends up at ALP, Lib or dog forbid One Hanson.

It is actually very easy. You only need to know the candidates in your own electorate. Just go to their website and read their policies.

The French war first and then the American war. They don't seem to harbor any ill will over it. I guess they are happy that they won. I would be livid about the level of birth defects from toxins sprayed all over and the ongoing injuries from land mines.

Blue tailed skink Christmas Island. They are extinct in the wild because of the introduced wolf snake. They are establishing new colonies (of the skinks) on some Cocos islands which will all be underwater soon.

I made the mistake of buying a passionfruit at bunnings, because I was there, and how can you get passionfruit wrong? It was wrong, trying to flower at the wrong time and then dying before it produced anything. Grew my next one from local seed.

Never actively used any AI but is sneaking into everything we do on the internet. When writing an email it will be suggesting the next two or three words and a simple google search returns an "AI overview". Thinking of moving to Linux, and when Wikipedia beg I donate to help keep them alive.

If you love history watch "Galipoli From Above: The Untold Story" It is a documentary and dispels many myths. I hate war and I found it fascinating.

Saw the great Dr G play at Nannup music festival many years ago. Full moon and the stage lighting was lighting up the karri trees around the amphitheatre. Absolutely magical night.

Oh well, just have to drag out the old vinyl then. Someone is making money out of all this remastering, and why are the original versions not available to stream?

I hate how the streaming services only have remastered or remixed versions of classic songs. (must be more money for someone ) As a huge Jethro Tull fan I can say this remaster is very true to the original mix on the Aqualung album.

Yeah mate, I get your point, but for the sake of accuracy, you said must be a hell of a shed. OK it would be to city people, but not us country bumpkins. Yeah they are as corrupt as all fuck.

It is not that much for a rural shed. Not up with current prices but I don't think 56k would get much. Maybe a bare bones open front 10m x 30m. Start adding concrete floors, fully enclosed with opening doors and that shed will shrink pretty fast. Not making any excuses for One Hanson.

Why do we need war memorials everywhere? OK, I get it with the little country towns having their "honour roll" of people killed in someones stupid war but Coral Bay wasn't even a settlement until the 1970s.

It pays to have a high profile. Trent Cotchin cleared to play 2017 GF, any normal player would have been suspended. And then Pendlebury, though that was just a normal game.

It wasn't individuals making good choices that fixed the ozone problem. It was co-ordinated action by governments all around the world. This is what is needed to fix climate change, plastic pollution and AI

/2 I was always opposed to Snowy 2 simply because the cheap solution is to simply build a massive solar farm and only run Snowy 1 at night. Irrigation needs could easily be factored in.

Weirdly, this is not as bad as it sounds if you go to the source. Patel claims that people have applied to join and have admitted to having been "subject" to bestiality in the past. Not sure how all of that works.

I am currently helping a mate set up a no frills bush camp. Camp kitchen and ablutions built 3 years ago. Trying to get sewage treatment approved. No easy bucks in this one, though I hope it is easy money for your winery as that is a tough industry atm.

I basically couldn't give a shit about the wearing the uniform. He deserves respect because he fronted the hearings and told the truth, and will do it again. Some of BRS colleagues chickened out or were pressured out to not implicate themselves. AH has nothing to hide from his time in Afghanistan.
