My wife and I went and voted early today. Mainly because on election day the lines and crowds are going to be a mess. #Vote

My 9 animes. I'm mostly a 80's and 90's fan as you can tell. Although the new GitS series was spectacular in my opinion.

My nine animes are: Silent Mobius, Akira, Bubblegum Crisis, Ghost in the Shell, Dirty Pair, the new Ghost in the Shell series, Record of Lodoss War, Demon City Shinjuku and Vampire Hunter D.

Didn't travel much when I was young except for family visits. Later travelling for a few conventions or when I worked as a remodel manager for Wal-Mart expanded it a bit.

Map of the US showing where I visited. Mostly midwest with a few exceptions like California and Texas.

Post a comic cover you love. All of the covers for the Elektra Assassin series done by Bill Sienkiewicz are fantastic in my opinion.

The cover of Elektra Assassin issue one. With Electra holding an oversized assault weapon of goofy proportion.

Starting to see more people spewing out shit about #Covid not being real, the pandemic not anywhere near as bad what people said, how it's all over blown. If you are one of those people you can unfollow me right fucking now. Trust me, I know just how real Covid is.

Me on a ventilator. Plenty of hoses, wires and monitors. Taken via my wife's phone as the only way she could see me was via a video camera in the room.

We got our first full session of #ForbiddenLands in today. Really enjoying the system and the setting as a player. Everything by #FreeLeague we have loved so far. Now if they would just start making the dice for this one again. #ttrpg

Finally got a copy of the book that the #Vaesen #ttrpg is based on. Signed by the author/artist and came with a signed print. It was the little splurge I did for myself with some of our tax return.

A copy of the tenth anniversary edition of the Vaeson book. A collection of spirits and monsters of Scandinavian folklore. Also with a signed print of the cover art of The Neck.

One of the locals going to #DieCon this year is a rep for Catalyst mainly doing #Battletech stuff. He sent me a picture of his newest kit he's got painted up to take to cons. He's been busy. I'm definitely getting into one of his demo games at the con.

80 battletech mini's all lined up and fully painted. With several rows of paint battles and brushes behind them.

Repost and name a #ttrpg that changed the way you game. For me it's Over The Edge. Crazy ass setting and a system that really did fade into the background very well. It showed me how important story and setting were to a level I never understood before.

After doing a bit of research this is how he plans on getting around the loss of state income. By taxing the shit out of us in other places without us getting a vote on it. Of course he isn't mentioning this part of the bill at all.

A portion of a bill highlighted "state and local and use taxes or any similar transaction-based tax may be expanded by legislation to impose taxes on transaction involving any goods and services."

110

Peter Amthor @peteramthor.bsky.social · 14/01/2026

The governor of #Missouri is trying to push the "end state income tax" bill saying how it will help residents. But he is sure staying silent about this one part of the bill that will let them raise taxes everywhere else.

I may be kicking the hornets next by questioning one of the local cities about their #FlockSecurity cameras. We shall see what their response is once I have somebody to ask the questions to. If they respond at all.

Facebook messenger shot of me asking the City of Farmington Missouri page this: "Which employee of the City of Farmington do I need to contact for questions about the Flock Cameras deployed in the city limits?"

Now I sent this after regular city hours so I got a canned response of the page not being monitored 24/7 etc. Which is understandable.

This object sits in the middle of a local graveyard. Nothing saying what it's for or what it's supposed to represent. In your game world what would it be? #ttrpg #GamingInspiration
