Great result for England in a game in which the yellow card nearly ruined a good contest. Still questions for England, the main one being Marcus Smith. If you are going to play him at full back you have to find a way to utilise his talents to outweigh his deficiencies. Use of Pollock as well.

I drove through Hindley today, part of the Makerfield Constituency. The House board count was 6 for Andy(echoes of when the Tories forgot to Inc the fact that they were Tories) and 5 for Reform. At Wembley on Sat Reform was the Fans choice. The Greens appear missing in action. going to be close

Wigan the spiritual home of rugby. Men and women's teams win their cups at Wembley. And Union is also thriving in the borough. Add to that, the cup was presented by Wigans own, Shaun Edwards the only person to have captained the England schools Rugby League and Union teams.

54y this weekend I drove home from Norfolk with a couple of squadron friends for the festival. It never stopped raining. Fortunately we stayed at my parents. The festival was superb The car was like a steam room on the Sunday night journey back to base with 2 very bemused southerners on board.

This is the racist prick that 1900 people voted for in the Hulton Ward in Bolton and is now my councillor. The left and centre was split between Lab and Greens but would have still fallen short by 10 votes. Hulton is not a deprived ward. 67% of housing is detached,30% are hgh educated. Why?
