Watching *ahem* “musicians” in the Suno reddit sub losing their shit over the new updates warms the cockles of my musician heart.

Nothing gets the adrenaline to kick in like lazing at home at 5.30 in the afternoon , when suddenly a last minute gig drops in for an 8.30 start! If you’re in Sydney and around Revesby, drop into the workers club and say hi. 😁

Joined another band today. How many is too many? I'm currently doing four projects, but I think I'm going to love this one. Here's a taste of what they're like... youtu.be/8Wp2Ul2n3hc?...

I love how amazing Maccas makes their burgers look in ads, as opposed to the slop you get served when you actually buy one. There’s a reason I haven’t eaten there for ages. Oh, and the unbelievable prices they’re asking now.

Watching movies from the ‘Video Nasties’ era for an upcoming podcast series. In this one George Eastman murders everyone except a really annoying kid, while everyone else watches an NFL game. #Horror #NowWatching #HorrorMovies

Watching ‘Strange Behaviour’, one of my favourite films from the ‘80s. In fact it’s one of the only horror movies I know of with a batshit crazy dance sequence! #horror #horrormovie #nowwatching youtu.be/5AN_XruOevo?...

22 minutes post #AusAlert and I go and put this on. Tell me it didn’t activate the 5G receiver that came with my Covid shot.

Pete Iacono @peteike.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Oh no! I just got the #ausalert thing on my phone and watch. It must have activated the 5G network and my COVID shot implant, and now I have an STD!!! 😉😂

Revisiting this balls to the wall, crazy film. One of my favourite Trenchard-Smith movies. Part fiction, part fact, part musical. Check it out if you haven't already.

The poster for the movie, Stunt Rock. It features a character playing an electric guitar above the film title. Below the film title is an illustration of a man jumping from one car to another.

Summer still trying to poke its head in here in Sydney, so a chilled latte instead of a hot one.

A long narrow glass filled with a very caffeinated, cold latte, sitting on a cafe table.

160km round trip for a gig tonight. Southwest Sydney to the far north of Sydney, Hornsby. Took the gig before all this Trump palaver in Iran and the ensuing fuel price increases. Not sure I'd take the gig if offered now.
