Oh man, I *definitely* do not need another joystick, but a loop lever (aka rotary) stick option from the factory is so tempting... 🤩

OMG that's great! I would have named one of the cats Dogyuun, just to be silly.

Nice! I'm going to try to come out for at least a little bit on Thursday to introduce myself. Also, I just spoke with Tom Wafflez and let him know some of the games on your de-rusting stream vod... He said he'd ask the tech to give those games a once over tomorrow AM. Anything to add to the list?

Film you've seen more than six times. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR or Marvel

Probably the original Gradius was the first shmup I cleared

When driving for work in Blue Island yesterday morning, I came across a small group of Monk Parakeets! I'd never seen (in person) the ones in Chicago before, so this was a real treat. There were about 7-10 of them I could see; this was just in front of Paul Revere Intermediate school. #birds

I'm super partial to any side-scrolling shmup, so my top 3 ratings are skewed.

Is it a laptop your SIL is having this on? If yes, I'd check the power management properties in device manager on her wifi adaptor. Some of them default to "allow the device to turnoff to save power", uncheck that for sure. Also try disabling "WiFi Sense" fixes it (requires restart). LMK

Add Burger Antics in Brookfield to the places you can get a better burger! Plus, it's super close to Galloping Ghost Arcade so you can hit both in one trip out that way.

These looks great! Vewlix layout feels so much better for a 4 button setup, imho.

When Neo Geo Freak revealed the line ups for KoF'98 the American Sports Team had the slogan 'DEATH or HELL' I neither know nor care why. Today is simply a day for very good English words from Japan

Double Dragon, possibly. The arcade version suffered from horrible slowdown and didn't have the hearts system to learn new moves. Gradius III - The SNES version scaled back the unforgiving difficulty of the arcade version and new weapon edit loadout options.
