It’s Bandcamp Friday, where they waive their fee and 100% goes to the artist. Here’s a clip of me tracking vocals for “Northern Bound Train” at Southern Tracks (RIP) in Atlanta. To see more—including a healthy dose of young Pete clowning around—check out the ‘Director’s Cut’ over on Substack.

I was so young. And so very earnest. On the day Necktie Second was released, a local Portland news crew tagged along as my band and I rehearsed in my basement and visited Music Millennium to pick up a copy. Now you can pick up your copy of the 2xLP deluxe reissue at petedroge.bandcamp.com

I filmed this 4-track cassette version of Fade Away Blue’s “Fading Fast” a while back, but wanted to save it until the record was out. Having just returned from dates on the East Coast, now feels like a great time to share this song about life on the road. For more, visit petedroge.substack.com

“Song for Barbara Ann” addresses the other side of the adoption coin from my previous single, “You Called Me Kid.” It speaks to the ambiguous grief I experienced when I decided to search for my birth mother, only to discover she had died just months earlier. For more, visit me on Substack.
