For capturing the partial solar eclipse in the UK, I created a @raspberrypi Solar Eclipse time-lapse camera using a Raspberry Pi 5, an HQ camera with a 50mm lens, a Pi Touch Display 2 and I coded a Python app to hook it all together. The repo for the app is here.. github.com/pjgpetecodes...

I also figured out that you can debug the code using a terminal application. The @Raspberry_Pi Pico will create a virtual COM port. Hook up something like PUTtY to that port with 8N1 at 9600 and you can see any errors etc...

I've just spotted and fixed a gotcha! You can't use GP15 as it is assigned to the USB port... So I've shuffled the LEDs on that side of the Pico back a pin... 12,13 and 14 now... I also need to add on the 11th and 12th buttons and LEDs...

It's alive! The Pico Producer (new name) is assembled! 12 buttons and LEDs hooked up to a @Raspberry_Pi #RaspberryPiPico acting as a HID device using Circuit Python!
