I had a friend who was really into the CoD lore aswell, making their own OCs and fanart for it and everything. They were the first I ever heard of the lore, so it's still fascinating to me that CoD even has lore.

I've been watching a lot of films I missed growing up to fill those pop culture blindspots of mine and it's interesting when I watch something that I mainly see derided for whatever thing someone didn't like about it so I go in with those low expectations only to really love it???

i dont think the price of commissions has anything to do with how much an artist "deserves", or even how much work goes into a piece -- isn't it supply and demand? if you charge $100 a sketch and your slots fill immediately, maybe you should be charging more. the luis vuitton of sketches

Bro just like me a few weeks ago. (See alt-text for context)

My sketchbook opened to show two pages.
Both sketches contain sketches made on a visit to the Natural History Museum in Berlin, Germany.
On the left is a sketch looking into the main hall with the brachiosaurus sauropod stand.
On the right page is a quick sketch of the Triceratops skull found in the North wing of the building.
Notes were written among the sketches during my visit:
"There are a lot of people here, and a lot of echo because of a lot of marble."
"Make the gardens useful" (unrelated)
"They are building a new sister-museum"
"The sound barrier in the cantine does close to nothing"

Take the fictional characters quiz and post the first four you know: openpsychometrics.org/tests/charac... I'm eccentric, mentally old, and I (want to) make something of note. Yeah, I also don't don't see how the 4th one fits.

The character named Q, from James Bond: Tomorrow Never Dies. Maker of James' many gadgets

The character Lucius Fox from Batman: The Dark Knight. Manages Wayne Enterprises for Bruce Wayne, and acts as Batman's armourer.

The character John Hammond, founder of Jurassic Park in the Jurassic Park franchise.

"How do you make friends as an adult" Consider: you didn't know how to make friends as a kid. You were just forced into shared spaces with people and did what we're naturally inclined to do. Making friends as an adult works the same way except you have to choose the space and go to it regularly.

A picturesque mountain landscape with dramatic jagged peaks in the background, partially covered in snow, under a deep blue sky. In the midground, dense evergreen forests blanket the slopes, transitioning into a sunlit clearing in the foreground. Nestled in this clearing is a small, charming chapel with a tall bell tower, surrounded by green meadows and scattered autumn-colored trees. The scene conveys tranquility and isolation amidst nature’s grandeur.

Inspired by @nixuelle.bsky.social's "Femboys and Firearms" series, I decided to spruce up one of my drawings. I think this captures the original vision much better. #art #furry #magazine

A digital art magazine cover titled "Gun 'n Rose" in bold text, it features my anthropromorphic false water cobra assassin character Gentoo, blowing the smoke from a gun, with the quote "pleasure doing business with you, darling".
She is holding a redacted contract.

The cover says the magazine includes a personal interview with Gentoo, "The 13 hottest damsels to put you in distress", "and much more".

I believe that on all social media, the only way to get publicity is to post as much as possible. Even if you are at first ignored, it enhances the chances of people finding you. This leads to more followers and likes, which leads to even more publicity. The difficulty for me is just *what* to post.
