It’s finally hit £2 per litre for diesel. Trump waging an illegal war with Iran, oil companies recording record profits, and yet we’re meant to be angry about people in dinghies.

This is outright dictator speak. He mustn’t get anywhere near power.

Spotted in Norwich today. Had to drive past it to check the driver and was bitterly disappointed that it was not Diane Abbott. I like to think that Jeremy Corbyn bought it for her when they were dating and they used to whizz around North London in it.

Was watching the BBC News coverage of the Iran situation and they kept inaccurately referring to Pete Hegseth as the US Secretary of Defence. His official title is Secretary of War. The USA aren’t hiding their intentions so why are the BBC?

Just remembering when Keir Starmer osed as an Extreme Left politician in order to become Labour Party leader. Strange times.

Can we have a big day in London, a march called, maybe, “Fix All The Shit That Is Nothing To Do With Immigration”? Focus on the huge corporations, the billionaires, wealth inequality, austerity, wage stagnation, lack of housing, utility company rip offs, supermarket profits. Unite around that.

Just got back from a counter-protest at an anti-migrant protest in Norwich. There was a rare, beautiful moment when the anti-migrant protesters started singing “Keir Starmer’s a wanker”, and the counter-protesters joined in with full voice. Our glorious PM has finally united the people.

What a depressing interview of Chris Bryant on @podsavetheuk.crooked.com. Really disappointed to hear such a defeatist attitude about Palestine when the government has the power to do so much more.

Landau went on to say that the US is now making perfectly good American glorifiers of hate and violence, so has no need to import them from elsewhere.

@jimmfelton.bsky.social I’m just listening to to the Sunburn audiobook and yesterday got to the “Stick It Up Your Junta” section about the Falklands reporting. Today in my local newsagent I see this. 43 years and the same shit.

Does anyone else get emotionally flattened by the Minecraft music? My 11 year old is playing Minecraft in the lounge and I’m sitting on the stairs in bits.

Has anyone read Eckhart Tolle? I’m really into his stuff, I’m having a shit time at the moment and caught myself saying “fuck my life”, and corrected myself to “fuck my life situation” in an Eckhart voice.
