I finally felt good enough to do some game dev last night. I had some ideas to go in an incremental game direction, but I think I might go in a, make a real game direction. I feel good about it, for the first time in a couple of weeks.

It appears the US government is trying to tie everything you say online to your govt. ID and severely limit what your allowed to say even more. I try not to be political and/or unwell on this account, but it does seem like we are rapidly approaching a point where I can say nothing.

I have been a lot more charitable to AI, a lot more than I should have, but it has almost completely fallen out of my workflow. Ironically, it got me better about reading documentation and seeking to improve as a creator. Its like, only as good as an college intern at everything you give it.

Another Lotr watch through and I went from being charitable to Tolkien, to being against him. For all the stuff that he gets right, he is still a white ethnostate monarchist. It also doesn't help that the Jackson movies feel very, pro-War, and there where no consequences for it all.

I should start writing and releasing materials on Dungeon Mastering. I've been doing a lot to figure out how to make adventures fun, how to curb murder hoboism, unsettling behavior and also how to tell the difference between an evil person and a person with a mental illness.

I've been following this 7 year old tutorial for a Zelda clone. The funny part, is that I know all this. I could have done all this, so far, by myself. I guess I've always been very ashamed of my coding skill. I guess a game that looks like a child wrote the script, is better than no game.

I love the movie Equilibrium, for the reactionary slop that it is. I like it, because it is about the last 2 weeks of this completely ridiculous society, before it falls apart. I think on this most resent rewatch, I think Christian Bale was the last and only guy on the drug.

I think I've come around on the new star fox. From what I've seen, it is a faithful recreation that at least measured equally to 64. My only complaint is it doesn't have the same voice acting that is burned into my memory, but that's a personal problem.

I love the Balder's Gate 3 Dialogue system because you are able to not press people on things. I am in general, non confrontational person. I rescued a scared child and I was able to pick, glad everything worked out, instead of reddit quip, insult child or insult adult. I hate Todd Howard, lol.

Dark souls but its open world like Shadow of the Colossus. Like the areas with the bosses are swarming with enemies, but to get there, you have to do like a Death Stranding amount of walking through dead landscapes.

Every day I find new Arc Raiders Tech. If you just have a girl voice on prox mic, people are more likely to stop shooting you around you and I don't hear anyone talking about it. Also if you use the Hello Greet before you walk into a building, the other person will think you are right behind them.
