Snow. Under a warning until 2 pm today, probably another 3 to 5 inches on top of what fell overnight. And then Saturday night until Tuesday morning it comes again. Potential for 1 to 2 more feet. Down along Lake Michigan they could get up to 3 feet. Over 312 inches. Huzzow!

We are under our second winter storm warning of the week. We picked up 5 + inches earlier and could get 8 to 17 inches overnight and into tomorrow. The first put us over 300 inches for the year.

mid April I go out to shovel Yes we had snow overnight. Only around 4 inches. Short of the predictions that said we could get up to 9. Glad we didn't. Our snow totals up on the ridge are around 310 inches so far this winter. We keep getting fake springs and then winter returns.

3 accepted by Failed Haiku a few days ago. Will be submitting more work as the week goes on to other magazines. And if I can get it into shape a poetry manuscript will go out. Other than that we have cleaned out the 15+ inches of snow from Sunday/Monday and are ready for next weekends storm.

In prepping for Trump's inflationary tariffs I stocked up on tomato products (most come from Canada or Mexico) and other staples from outside the country. Also bought any electronics we might need before the end of January. Supporting ACLU efforts as well as local food banks.
