Best thing I ever did for my mental health as a TTRPG content creator, was ignore the industry for two months. Literally didn’t impact my career and I’m finding a WANT to come back rather than a NEED. Some of y’all still take goblin dice games way too seriously.

Hey, Games Workshop. I think there are enough 90's era fans in need of mental comfort food that you could put out say, a full rerelease of say Warhammer Quest, and make bank. Garage gaming casuals, maybe with kids of their own now, might like that sweet nostalgia goodness. Cozy gaming is a thing.

What's new in the Ripley edition? I have the simplest edition and have played it a bit. Pretty game but a bit too spooky for my tastes. But perhaps I should give it another go some bright summer's day. 😊

Bad games are the best games because they create game designers. If 5e were perfect, there would be only one game. Instead, 5e sucks so there are 10,000 tiny indie games that suck less and that’s beautiful

I miss Google Plus. I'm more than just a roleplayer. But in communities like this I "have to" narrow my focus or be fine with spamming those who follow me. On G+ I had separate circles for RPGs, photographers etc.

I love all other TTRPG genres to some extent, and I love getting to draw so many varieties of games but deep, deep down it's ELF GAMES and it has always been ELF GAMES for me. Back in March 2023 I backed the #Battletech kickstarter, and have been waiting since. But today I got an email from the EU hub to confirm my address, so maybe they'll beat the two year mark. This will be my entry into the tabletop Battletech hobby. Looking forward to it!

I have a #ttrpg about murder investigations in 1970's Sweden brewing. It should reach the level of completion that we can take it for a spin sometime next year. Also I have been wanting to run the comics inspired game The Troubleshooters for quite some time, I hope we'll get to play that as well.

Hi #ttrpgsky and #ttrpysky This is The Dune Rose RPG, a romance novel RPG that looks like a romance novel. Research involved listening to hundreds of hours of romance podcasts and reading novels. The game uses the same rules as The Shadow of Yesterday, mentioned earlier in this thread.

Hi #ttrpgsky Swords & Wizardry! Very pretty covers. This was my setup when I had a standing group for OSR with my girlfriend and her friends. This and the thief from Basic D&D as we started with just the Whitebox. Publishing my campaign notes as a supplement has been on the to-do list for years.

Hi #ttrpgsky and #ttrpysky This is The Shadow of Yesterday. And I love this game. Would play. Would run. Have played several campaigns using these rules. Have hacked the rules and published a game based on them. Amazing system where the other PCs in the party matter, in a very mechanical sense.

Hi #ttrpysky, This is Run Robot Red(ux). Sort of a second edition of Run Robot Red. Play troopers robots that rebel against the rule of other robots. It's charming and full of fun mechanics. IIRC Annie wrote it without having played RPGs before, but I could be mistaken, it was a long time ago.

Hi #ttrpysky This is a history lesson in the shape of an RPG. It's about an uprising against the nazi occupiers in Poland during WW2. Play teenagers, do uprising stuff, fall in love, listen to the radio. I was quite enthusiastic about it back in the day, we even discussed making a translation.
