Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 29/09/2026And compute costs is the part that doesn't get cheaper with scaling. Am I understanding that correctly? 010
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 25/09/2026The fact that your reply got the ratio gives me hope 020
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 18/09/2026I recently had the misfortune of learning the phrase "P doom" and the kind of tech bro asshats who use it when talking about AI. My eyes rolled so much they did a full 360. This post perfectly encapsulates why I found it so off-putting 030
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 18/09/2026And since we know wealth is largely just a birth lottery, they are essentially demanding every man, woman, and child participate in this nationwide Russian roulette. It's pure nihilistic narcissism 020
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I want to see a journalist ask republican members of Congress point blank "would you let Mitch McConnell drive your children to and from school?". The question speaks for itself. 000
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Claiming you can't be addicted to social media because you can't be addicted to music is like saying you can't be addicted to tobacco because you can't be addicted to lettuce. Tobacco and lettuce both belong to the extremely broad category of "plants" so they must be the same in all other ways?? 010
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 14/09/2026My brain won't melt like that, I believe in science and objective reality! The science and objective reality: bsky.app/profile/seam... 16517

Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 24/02/2026Is that head angry bird (the red one) canonically a Cardinal? I wonder 😆 020
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 22/02/2026Oh Miley, so naive... you have no idea how deep this goes 070
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 21/02/2026Thank you for your input by the way! I appreciate it 010
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 20/02/2026Let's gooooo!!! I got 5/6!! Haha but I'm really not a bird expert, just used the information within the names 😛 But I recognized all of them by sight 142
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 19/02/2026Haha it's easier for a fellow lefty to spot another. The cup placement is definitely a strong indicator but the first thing I saw was the way the eggs were angled and positioned 120
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 19/02/2026Once you got me thinking about the food layout, something clicked in my head. I could be wrong here but are you a lefty? 120
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 17/02/2026I feel like this would do well in the Nikon comedy wildlife awards competition 010
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 14/02/2026Haha I wonder, with the advent of modern materials, if there's been a sort of blue inflation for the bowerbirds. Have female bowerbirds raised the bar for what they find impressive now that human-made blue objects are everywhere? Blue used to be a difficult color to find in nature! 000
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 14/02/2026It is 100% a good idea! I love playing this. Waiting for Thailand🇹🇭 110
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 14/02/2026Everyone is asking: After you took the pic, did you put the two bread pieces together? Also, green onions tastefully cut on the bias, the judges are gonna love that 010

Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 17/01/2026The AI training via captcha has been going on for quite a while. It started with text recognition but has moved on to image recognition www.techradar.com/news/captcha...techradar.comCaptcha if you can: how you’ve been training AI for years without realising itAll those little visual puzzles add up to AI advances 000
Some guy @personreading.bsky.social · 17/01/2026The secret real answer is that it doesn't matter. There's lots of wiggle room with the "maybe" squares because Google also doesn't know the definitive answer. They're just croud sourcing human work for AI vision training. "Yes" on an obvious "no" will get you flagged but "maybes" are freebies. 350
