the magic knight rayearth girls are living rent free in my mind. they're so goofy and full of love! i used the orig anime color palette bc that's what im watching rn and im fond of it, but i know the new anime color palette is p different. i did make these as stickers/keychains if ur interested! 🔗🔽

do you really think it’s simple to encapsule it? that the parts you didn’t like were just an accident?

121

perry @perryseity.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

ive been watching magic knight rayearth! it does such a good job of making you care about those girls and showing how much they care about each other. this isnt what i set out to draw today but i won't have too much time to draw this week so i wanted to grab the chance to draw today if i could...

me trying to prove i can draw other characters. i think feldt's bangs are very cute bc to me they look like she never quite figured them out. 6+ years of trying out hairstyles and they still win in the morning.

lauren asked me to draw marie and chris in the uniforms they dont get to wear! i got a lil carried away w headcanons & trying not to too closely overlap existing color schemes. for chris i was like, almost everyone gets to change their hair so she should too? but i think i like the original best...

sayonara lara is like a delicious treat every week! drawing lara's design feels like i'm failing and learning; it's so simple but it's so shapes that deciding what things i can change or adapt into my style feels a lot more loaded than usual. idk if that makes sense!

i was fighting some powerful artblock when i drew this so i went back to my roots and drew my girl penny to get the brain cells moving again... i used to draw her all the time but it's been awhile. nothing's ever broken my heart the way rwby did.

perry @perryseity.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

also the quite frankly silly process of trying to figure out a character design. she doesnt have a name yet. im struggling (clearly)

sayonara laras... this show is so cute! if you're not watching it you should check it out, the colors and designs are such a feast for the eyeballs. i did set these up as stickers + keychains in my shop too, if you're interested! 🔗🔽
