JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Hear me out...what if Season 5 were ahead of its time and the coal mine + miner's halt are meant to be Ballaswein? This also fits into UnluckyTug's theory that the fishing village is Harwick 010
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 20/08/2026So the thing I took away from the trailer for the new show is…that it seems to be the lovechild of AEG and BWBA 000
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 01/11/2025Returning to Unlucky Tug's "separate canons" theory, I've crafted Sodor maps for both the model and CGI series 021
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 23/01/2025Perhaps the biggest change I'm making from both canons is that Peel Godred is the castle station instead of Ulfstead (it's literally King Godred's castle). The Earl's estate and railway museum is located here, and can be accessed by every gauge railway, including the Arlesdale/MSR and CFR 000
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 23/01/2025Suddery is the town square station, seeing as it's the capitol of Sodor and where the mayor lives. The old wharf was rebuilt as the Search & Rescue Center (figures to locate the rescue center at the capitol) 100
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 23/01/2025Like the TVS, the loop line exists, allowing main line trains to stop at Elsbridge and enter Tidmouth through the rear. I have an entirely new take on Elsbridge - it's a multi-level station with Thomas' branch running above and the main line below, similar to metro trains IRL 100
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 23/01/2025Knapford is mostly as it appears in the books - the junction to Thomas' branch overlooking the old harbour, except with the aesthetic of TVS Elsbridge/Tidmouth Harbour. (most of this map is just RWS track plans with TVS assets) 100
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 23/01/2025The old headland track from the TKER was reopened as part of Thomas' branch line to provide an alternate route to control traffic to the big station. It was also briefly used as an express route for the Flying Kipper - until Something In The Air 100
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 23/01/2025Tidmouth Harbour is where the Brendam Docks crew from the TVS works, since it's the main line's harbour. It's connection to Thomas, Edward, and Duck's lines as well fixes the inconsistency from the TVS, and is also where the Flying Kipper departs like in the books 100
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 23/01/2025So Tidmouth has a track plan similar to the books, except with the visual aesthetic of TVS Knapford. The indoor roundhouse sheds are located within the big yards behind the station 100
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 24/11/2024Since Tidmouth is the big station/harbour and Knapford is the junction, there's no need for a loop line BUT I like to think one was eventually built, with Elsbridge being a multi level transfer station 100
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 19/11/2024"How's the road taste?" *obnoxious laughter* 041
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 18/11/2024"We'll get ya one of these days, Stepney..." 010
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 12/11/2024I’ve identified Suddery as well - odd choice since it probably looks like it should be on the main line, but it only has one platform and Lower Suddery is the more relevant station anyway. My justification is that Gordon passes it traveling west from Brendam in Best Dressed Engine 020
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 12/11/2024I think I’ve finally identified an official TVS Killdane - this station that briefly appears in S11 and The Great Discovery. Thomas passes traveling east down the main line from Tidmouth to Balladwail Wharf 120
JC (DuckGWR08) @perplexedpannier.bsky.social · 25/10/2024Here's my TV Series map of the Island of Sodor, covering the entire show in one canon! Based on maps by Awdry, David Mitton, and Unlucky Tug #thomasthetankengine #thomasandfriends #ttte #islandofsodor #sodor #sodormap 1136
