hi everyone... im here again... if tumblr is my beloved house that's being demolished slowly with sledgehammers against my will then bluesky is an empty lot that i got a few years ago and started building foundations of a new house on, before running out of steam. but picking it back up now

did this for alicewav on tumblr's dtiys challenge!! in-game, my courier six, moz, didn't really shoot benny at the tops - they had the machete fight in the legion fort instead - but i wanted to draw moz in a dress and the original art's composition was so good :)

on the right, moz, a brown-skinned woman wearing a red dress and white shawl and is holding a smoking gun, is standing over benny gecko, who is wearing a checkered suit and is bleeding from a shot to the head. in the middle of the picture, there is text that says "courier six and benny in ring-a-ding-ding!" and on the top left, there is a faded "bang!" text effect. overall the picture is imitating the vibes of old movie posters.

i'm reading the ballad of songbirds and snakes. have been reading it for a while now, actually. it isn't as compelling to me as the hunger games trilogy was, and i want to be done with it already so i can move on to another book before april ends

i just watched 12 angry men and it was riveting! on paper it sounds like the most boring shit ever, but it had my attention for every minute of its runtime. stunning, stunning movie

i've half a mind to just condense the posts but that would mean missing The Journey of OC Creation, so i probably won't. probably just copy and paste the posts and tags to the doc wholesale. i might link it somewhere if anyone's interested lmao but idk yet

peri! ✨ @perithewhat.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

ok so i'll stay with tumblr until it breathes its last but just to be safe!! i've been backing up my oc talk and art and other thoughts in a google doc that now has (checks notes) 41 tabs. it's a daunting task but i don't want 10 years of my creative work lost to the void if/when tumblr goes down :(

i want to be the type of person who can draw autobio comics without feeling immense shame and thinking "who cares?" with every line drawn... i want to be open! and vulnerable! and yet i just can't make myself do it. sighs
