Nuestro cuerpo es un bosque. No basta con apagar las llamas: hay que entender la dirección del viento, las brasas escondidas y el terreno seco que favorece el fuego. 🌲🔥🌬️

En resumen: la obesidad no solo pone en marcha una cascada inflamatoria y hormonal que alimenta el cáncer. También transforma su entorno, haciéndolo más resistente a los tratamientos. 🧩

Este tejido peritumoral también cambia con la obesidad: al igual que el bosque que rodea el incendio, este modifica su estructura, sus señales, su comportamiento. Y todo eso puede darnos pistas para anticipar cómo evolucionará el cáncer. 🧠🔬

Y por si fuera poco, estas células también interfieren con tratamientos como la quimio o la inmunoterapia, haciéndolos menos eficaces. Pero hay esperanza: entender esto abre nuevas puertas. 🎯

¿Y por qué esta conexión? Porque la grasa corporal cambia el vecindario celular, creando un microambiente ideal para que las células cancerosas se multipliquen sin freno🏎️ Imagínate un cóctel tóxico: inflamación crónica, hormonas desequilibradas y estrés celular.
