oh shit yeah this rings a bell too. I keep seeing people in the indian metal scene worship these people like they're gods and it sickens me because it's always the popular and big deal kinda characters who do this

aphex twink @peregrinator.net · 4h

looks like there's only two left on this. fq38 and cvcy

This beast released today. If you don't know, I'm the bass player for Stryga. We collaborated with so many amazing and talented people to summon this album from the abyssal pits of hell, and I couldn't be more proud. Thanks to Luciana Nedelea for the art, Thelema for the intro tracks...

my prof, whose son passed away some weeks back in a flash flood, is now memorialising his son using an ai video of them and I don't know wtf to think

050

that's really cool because even though I love some of the vocal performances on his solo project, I've never been able to get into it as much as I have SYL, haha

oh hey I think i it was you who introduced me to it when you'd posted it some time back and bought have i been obsessed with it since

I've never played them tbh but are Watain a safe band in any sense of the word?

at every consultation to answer stupid questions like "why do you smoke" and other shit that bothers them, how am I supposed to work on finding better strategies? if instead of being given care I'm being judged over every fucking thing, what improvement do you expect to happen?

aphex twink @peregrinator.net · 22h

I feel like shit again asking people for the barest of bare minimums and being denied that. it's obviously fucking harming me when I smoke or stress eat but how is that ever made out to be anything other than a bad coping strategy? when I'm being denied proper psychiatric care and being cornered

I had to take it to this guy somewhere to get it fixed last clearly he didn't do a very good job of it and now getting someone to install a new one is going to be a whole new struggle because every step of the fucking way is a pain

thankfully I can still play through my laptop and record but it's not the way I work while writing stuff. I mean, I can probably even fix the amplifier myself but the fan might need to be replaced ugh

this was something that the power people had to fix so yeah I don't think anything could've prevented it as such. there are these circuit breakers that are installed but that apparently didn't help shit

020

how fucked up is it that they can't even build houses with surge protection or just something to prevent electrical appliances from getting fucked up by voltage fluctuations ffs

120

great, both my amplifier and the fan have stopped working. this is just fucking great. but the WiFi is working now so the assholes who leach off of it don't care about what I'm going through

240

ah fucking hell if this power thing did damage the fan again and my amp I am going to be so mad

holy shit this is getting me so excited for this release! go buy it already! divine thong on the celestial butt, this is just brilliant all around wraithstorm.bandcamp.com/album/revenant

also makes sense that it's that album for you. a lot of his music just melts the anger and frustration away

he was also involved with production for a bunch of albums as well. I mean, Lamb of God's As the Palaces Burn was also such a formative album for me and I learned he produced it just last month

I love all of them in different ways haha. Devin Townsend is a genius

one funny thing @baltech.bsky.social pointed out about him doing bass on this single was that he was the token cis person amongst us which had never occurred to me before he did 😭

151

okay this is getting embarrassing for me now that people are still talking about "female fronted bands"

man what the fuck, this neighbour is still burning shit?

these name searchers are really fucking annoying sometimes.

one of my closest twitter friends got diagnosed with Guillain-Barré and was in the hospital for a good while recently and I had no fucking clue because we've been so out of touch. things are really getting darker everywhere

000

oh yeah, I remember that thing about him hating it too suddenly. but it's the perfect kinda weird for me, haha

I'm listening to this album right now and it's making me want to get up and dance—something I NEVER do. but it's so much more than that. those dark industrial grooves can get really fucking heavy too
