#tavqotd As a drow raised to revere both Lolth and Tiamat, Breoch doesn't see Mystra's demands as strange. He simply assumes that's what all goddesses do. It isn't until he sees his companions' reactions that he'd realise that perhaps Gale might be in need of some sympathy, rather than his apathy.

And finally Shrike did have a surname, but they've forgotten it after their Orin-lobotomy. 'Shrike' began as a nickname in reference to their short stature and penchant for impaling their enemies, much like the bird. The name stuck once they entered the Bhaalist temple to claim their birthrite.

Zeke's full name is Ezekiel Ignistinea. Zeke's birth parents were paladins, so they named him 'strength of God' after their holy aspirations for him. His surname belongs to his adoptive devil father and warlock patron. It means 'fire moth'. His father kept Zeke's first name as he loved the irony

Comic 🧵 7/7 For context: Zeke has always had a sleepwalking habit, though that wasn't really a concern until the 'Alfira incident' and Zeke's attempt on Gale's life. Whilst using the leash does stop Zeke from wandering off without waking Gale, it does cause a few unique problems of its own 🤭
