Slashing back to Sat., April 7, 2018, at @officialpax.bsky.social East when I took this photo of the incredibly talented pair of @percylovecreative.bsky.social as Bartz and Gilgamesh from the Final Fantasy game franchise. #bartzcosplay #gilgameshcosplay #paxeast #cosplayphotography

A pair of cosplayers are dressed as, from left, Bartz and Gilgamesh from the Final Fantasy game franchise. Bartz, mostly in blue, is holding a red-bladed sword across their body, and Gilgamesh, mostly in red and white, is holding two swords across his body. The upper one, in his right hand, is red, orange and yellow and the lower one if blue, gray and silver.

💪 ARM WIP 💪 One arm is as done as it will get for a while. All that is left is to paint, but i think i will focus on getting other pieces started first. But i will get the other arm up to speed first. Also, one arm is almost 4lbs. 👀 look how large it is compared to me! #gilgamesh #cosplay #ff7

but fix it anyway because you know deep down he’s correct. Get someone who will join in your crazy ideas and even suggest crazier ones. Get yourself a best husbando! (Just not this one. This one is mine.)

✨FF7R Gilgamesh WIP✨ The upper arms are getting there! We figured out the angles for pvc pipes/connections, so now it’s just about building the rest of the arm. All that’s left will be to make the forearms and hands. And of course cement everything in place. Then eventually will come the painting! 🤩

Reinforced the insides with scrap foam strips. Also started detailing. “Rivets” are half pearls that were grounded down to be more flat. Caulk was used to fill in seam gaps.

Pattern attempt 3.0 - altered the bottom of the foam part a little bit so that the sides stay up more and not slouch/slant so much. Now attempting to figure out the rest with cardstock. But now I’m going to just make a sphere pattern () <- like that, that will make a circle and hopefully fit/work 🤞

He may be weak to water, but Pupper did so well during his bath! 🛁 🧼 - Gentle reminder to be sure to wash your plushes, especially if they spend time on con floors! With as many adventures as Pupper has been on, he needed a good scrub, especially his feet! #washyourplush #pokemonplush #cosplay

Reject having to endlessly chase trends to keep your art "relevant". Embrace making art of your favourite supporting characters, who probably have a dozen fans max and are from media that's over 20 years old. 👍

Comment: OMG sooo pretty!!! (3 Heart emojis)

Second panel shows personified user admiring the artwork in a frame and talking to the artist with excitement. The panel is full of hearts and sparkles.
