amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 16/03/202513. one punch man s2 its sad that the animation went downhill but i really like the focus on character writing this season garou is a really silly guy also pretty funny 6/10 000
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 16/03/202512. one punch man s1 havent watched it since it first released snd it's such a good time. this is an all-timer i dont even need to say anything if youve heard of opm even a little you already know 8/10 100
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 16/03/202511. house (1997) really funny editing. incredibly unique movie kung fu is an amazing character i also got kinda gay subtext vibes but i didnt think about it enough to really put it into words cause every 5 seconds something like this would happen 7/10 100
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 10/03/202510. no more heroes 3 this game is a great time. its the funniest out of the 4 for me the bit of binging a series is so good it feels nice for travis to have a big well developed enemy, especially when it's the game turns travis into an actual hero fu just kicks so much ass 8/10 100
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 02/03/2025anyway yeah this game means a lot and has so much heart and emotion behind every second of it the gameplay is not as good but who cares the story for this game is worth playing it for tenfold and i cant recommend it enough if you ever play no more heroes 7/10 silver faces song kicks ass 110
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 02/03/2025continue creating in grasshopper's case, or killing in the case of travis it's such a gut punch but despite that it still feels hopeful that one day you'll be able to live past it. just taking small steps one at a time. it'll be okay the credits song highlights this a lot for me 100
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 02/03/2025this game feels like its a huge vent abt desperately trying to move on from a part of your life, but you can't no matter what you do or where you run. it feels so impossible to get away from it or to live without it.. so what can you even do besides rely what you've always relied on 100
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 02/03/2025would have honestly made me cry a little bit going through grasshopper's past games and killing them (figuratively and literally) is such a unique way of describing the feeling of actively hurting yourself over not living up to your own standards 100
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 02/03/20259. travis strikes again going into this i expected a pretty quick in and out that sets up travis for nmh3 and it is that to an extent but it serves a secondary purpose as a very beautiful introspection on the art of creation i can tell that if i had played more suda games before this the ending(1/?) 100
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 26/02/2025i know i have no more heroes brainrot now cause i forgot to do my mirror dungeons lately 000
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 26/02/2025and also the writing in this game is so great. really funny and but it can get very heavy when it wants to went from loving to hate travis to just actually genuinely wanting the best for him rly looking forward to travis strikes again and nmh3 to see where he goes after this 100
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 26/02/20258. no more heroes 2 this was a great time as well from the way ppl described it i thought id be in hell but it was silly shoutouts to the music in this game its great (philistine and kill or be killed are amazing) fuck new destroyman though 8/10 it gets my kh2 brainrot going w the dual beam katanas 100
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 24/02/20257. no more heroes very silly raunchy action game im really surprised how much i love travis hes such an absolute dork everything abt this game feels like a weird dream it operates on such weird logic but it all works so well also masafumi takada soundtrack so its alreadylike a 7 minimum for me 8/10 100
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 16/02/20255. guilty gear 2 overture really fun fighting game moba mix i dont really get it yet but ive been playing it w gf and slowly understanding it more and more and its great (ive only beaten her once...) this game is the definition of a 7/10 with soul and more games should exist like this good music too 110
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 14/02/20254. dr jekyll and mr hyde started it for a class and then just finished it on my own cause it was surprisingly good first time a book has made me uneasy while reading it (when utterson and co. break into the cabinet) 8/10 though i could do without jekyll saying a slur like 3/4ths of the way through 110
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 12/02/20253. mob psycho 100 (season 3) this shit is so beautiful love the first 2 seasons of mob psycho so much and this is on par w them mob psycho is just one of those things i think everyone should try at least once was so emotional at the end. im so proud of mob 9/10 110
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 03/02/20252. dog man this movie felt like reading the books for the first time again. theres a little place in my heart for dav pilkey books 8/10 120
amber @pequodcaptain.bsky.social · 01/02/20251. rule of rose this entire game feels like a dream that you're trying to explain to somebody in the strangest way possible i think its honestly impossible to describe the atmosphere that this game gives off so despite combat being awful, definitely experience it at least once 6/10 in a good way 120
