Finished up act 1 of Feed The Pit It's never going to be possible for a horror game to deliver what Look Outside did for me with that super enjoyable mix of modern banality being performed by horrors beyond your comprehension But this was close. It scratched that same itch and thats rad as hell!

1 of the major reasons i prefer GU to Wilds is the readability the sheer number of particle effects, shiny sheens and reflections, impacts, UI pop ups, damage numbers (yes they can be turned off), and other visual noise Meanwhile GU is just me, the monster, low poly grass and jpegs of birds.

I think the biggest reason people feel fear or paranoia over starting GMing for a ttrpg, atleast when I first started, is feeling like you have to be a good computer who knows all the realistic outcomes of things But something you can really weaponise is just asking other people (Probably a thread)

I have no idea if this has been talked about before but I feel like I have a lukewarm take: I think alot of "Mascot horror" games are not mascot horror but instead should be called "Theory slop" games, which I feel is a fitting name for games that lead to these moments below.
