A wet winter is what it hates most, other than that they tend to come back even when they look woody and dead - have a look back at the one we cut back recently. Never give up too soon, it’s pretty resilient

The Germander has now been cut back in order to allow it to put on some growth and provide a low evergreen hedge for the winter. You can do the same now or leave it until the spring 🌱🇬🇧 #herbs #flowers #allotment #horticulture

We picked up a pot of this gorgeous looking (and smelling) Basil at the local garden centre, here in Spain where we’re spending a few weeks. Meanwhile, Sam, Abby, Ben, Ross, Nicky and Andy will keep everything running as smoothly as always back at the nursery 🌱🇬🇧 #herbs #flowers #basil #mojacar

Don’t, it’s all by hand, with secateurs - either kneeling down or by lifting trays up onto trolleys. I think we’re just used to all the bending, lifting, being on our feet all day… 😊

That’s it, all of our events are finished for the year, although we continue to grow herbs and sell them to our wholesale customers and online - and this is how the tunnels look at the minute (the neatest, loveliest ones 😉) with others in the process of being cleared, cut back, weeded, refilled. 🌱🇬🇧
