Thoughts are like waves in the ocean. You can let them be waves, passing you by unmolested - tread water unattached. #ramdass #thoughtsarewaves #dbtskills #mentalhealth #depression

Seeing a lot of "oh look, early settlers were were immigrants too!". Please stop calling them "immigrants", they were invaders on a quest to dominate & exploit. They viewed it as "divine mission" (manifest destiny) rooted in belief of racial and cultural superiority #thanksgiving #landback #kkkanada

A modified version of the painting "The Death of James Cook". In the scene, James Cook is depicted in his final moment during his invasion of Hawaii surrounded by armed Hawaiian figures defending their land and British sailors on a chaotic beach setting trying to invade. However, Cook’s face has been replaced with a black-and-white photograph of Justin Trudeau’s face, creating a surreal and satirical juxtaposition between the historical and the modern - in context on the ongoing European settler violence in the West.

Probably a bit too spicy for social media but I find myself constantly pushing boundaries lately 🤷🏽‍♀️ #landBACK

Sometimes it helps me to see "their projected reality" as an illusion spell that has been cast on me. I refuse to validate illusions created solely through one's untreaded subconscious. There's darkness there - & a requirement for you to submit to their image of who you are, or face their wrath...

Ram Dass QOTD 💜 (from a few days ago lol) Thanks to this teaching, I've been able to understand a little more why there is sometimes an impassable gulf between two people when communicating. But perhaps when we hold space, we can invite them to bridge the gap.🪷
