I dug this cushion cover out of the “hibernating” box, and found I only have ten more rounds to finish. I started it a couple of years ago, and the centre panel is studded with beads. Yarn is The Croft DK from West Yorkshire Spinners. Needle size is 4 mm, huge compared to my usual sock needles 😆

Paddy’s Rocky Road new sock pattern, represents the transition a Greyhound from racing kennels has to make, to adjust to living in a domestic environment. Proceeds from any sales will be donated to greyhoundgap.org.uk the charity that rescues dogs like Paddy, and helps them into homes.

Toe up, centre-sole gusset with short row heel & integrated heel-flap. Once I discovered this method, I use it on all my sock designs on Ravelry, and I convert other patterns I’m knitting to this method. The result is a better, stretchier fit over the instep.

I have sock patterns in my Ravelry Store. If you are a sock knitter and want something a bit different, do take a look. All my socks are knit toe up, and have a single sole gusset and an integral heel flap, which doesn’t require any picking up of stitches. They fit well too! #ravelry #sockmadness
