- haruka and juyeon’s favorite bonding activity used to be dancing because juyeon liked it so much and literally begged haruka to dance with her - they both like hassan’s cooking/baking, especially his meskouta - hassan forces them to do the laundry at the apartment laundry room and they hate it

- juyeon went to school in espectras city the veiled citadel but haruka got homeschooled because he was feral once he got adopted - hassan taught both of them at least one instrument - haruka’s first was the piano (which hassan learned without his ability copying powers) - juyeon learned the bass

- later juyeon would gain claustrophobia (especially in dark, cramped rooms) due to her trauma - haruka would become selectively mute because the longer they stayed in this hell the more he had to kill the children his captors put him against. haruka basically gave up talking just to kill.

- each captor had a favourite kid, who were basically kids that they abused more. haruka was one of them and he had to fight - also the kids lived in shipping crates - he got a feeling that he was a favourite so as a misguided attempt to protect his sister he told her to perma stay in their crate

before she and haruka got adopted, haruka forced juyeon to stay in the small box permanently they were forced to live in in a misguided attempt to protect her because their captors physically, emotionally, mentally, sexually and psychologically tortured the trafficked children they "liked"
