🏊‍♀️ Off The Deep End An animated short by Brianna Berg and Christina Barclay, about a high school girl struggling with her body image before a swimming competition. I wrote the soundtrack from 1:45 to 2:52: scenes where she breaks down, then builds herself back up. www.youtube.com/watch?v=paBH...

So here’s the deal. I’m being made redundant from my day job, which I don’t mention often here because I don’t like crossing the streams of music me and day job me all that much. I’ve got a little runway but if you’ve got projects coming up soon it would be an ideal time to talk.

I make electronic music and you might have heard me on Drawfee! My new release today is nostalgia for the vibes of PS2 era racing game DnB. peopleneedgoals.bandcamp.com

I think what I’m saying is that I’m losing the battle against perfectionism for my next multi-track release so it might be a while. Also say goodbye to your tits

I’ve been trying to work on a single track for weeks and gang it ain’t coming together. I feel like I could release it as it is and it’d be “a fine but kind of unusual png track” but I don’t want to do that I want to blast your tits off

Tidal is generally viewed as the best streamer in terms of audio quality and payout; I use Apple Music because I’m on a plan with others and it’s fine. The very very best option is to spend the money each month on buying from Bandcamp but obviously that takes a while to build your library!

Please don’t use Spotify!! This is as well as AI music, ICE support and large donations to military tech.

As a smaller artist, I would receive literally $0 from Spotify, one of the many reasons I pulled my music from there some time ago (along with the CEO’s insistence on funding military tech). If your song doesn’t get over a thousand streams in a certain time period they literally just don’t pay you.

“Average musician makes $12 a month on Spotify. The fact that they are not even able to sell a record and it’s taken from them by rich motherfuckers on streaming platforms who get paid royally by record labels,Ticketmaster, merch companies. They’re all fucking getting paid, except for the musician.”
