When I paint flowers, I imagine they are animals or humans. Herkkien kesäretki - Summer Trip of the Sensitive, 30 x 30 cm, acrylic on canvas #art #paintingflowers #flowerart #abstractfloral

When uncertainty gnaws at me, I make beautiful pages. The longer I live, the more I realize that pain and beauty go hand in hand. Even pink can be a color of despair. I love this all-encompassing nature of art, which always inspires us to create. #artjournaling #mixedmedia

Watercolor collage in an art journal. The left side has some very simple and loose yellow flowers. I think we have to let go of how a flower should look to paint the best flowers. Finished with colored pencils. More tips on my blog. www.peonyandparakeet.com/expressive-w... #artjournal #watercolor

My artist's path started from art journaling, and my books still get browsed and filled. It gives me satisfaction to draw my own "products", then "shop" in my own "shop," and then draw more ideas and write stories that often surprise even myself. #art #drawing #artjournaling
