📡 Telecom got the same treatment. OpenBTS and OpenBTS-UMTS are patched and building again ➡️ legacy C++ that GCC 15 flatly rejected. And for 5G SA we've moved to OCUDU as the CU/DU stack. 2G through 5G, still one pull.

We could have pinned an old base and quietly rotted. Instead we patched the software: gr-osmosdr, gr-gsm, gr-fosphor, gr-dvbs2, gr-nordic, gr-grnet, the gr-*_utils family, srsRAN 4G, YATE ➡️ all forked publicly, free for anyone. 50+ OOT modules build again ✅

Every image moved to Ubuntu 26.04. Sounds boring. It wasn't. The new toolchain broke half the SDR ecosystem: GCC 15 rejects old C, CMake 4 dropped old policies, Boost 1.90 deleted APIs a pile of GNU Radio modules were built on.
