I started rewrites on OUTCAST yesterday. It was so nice to just unplug and watch some shows while I tore my work to shreds and cried on the remains. That said, we're making good progress. Let's hope I don't get distracted by writing FFXIV fanfiction with my OCs there....

That is a good question. I have no idea. 😂 But likely be around the same time as other streams. That seems to be my sweet spot. LOL

I have tried 4 times to make a ref sheet for my new model... They all feel like trash and that I'm not doing my model mama's work justice. Deadline for debut coming up soon... I'm running out of time...

It's time to play the video game, chat. Tonight, I'm finally unlocking the normal raids. Promise. Starting at 4PM CST. Or at least, that's when we start yapping. Raids soonish after. twitch.tv/penrosevt

I wrote something this week that I am extremely proud of. I just wanted to share that. Carry on.

It’s like you are in my brain. I was literally thinking about playing 11 again the other day. 😂😂

PenroseVT 🖋️🌹 @penrosevt.me · 17/05/2025

I guess that's where I'm at now. Looking at where I've been, & where I'm going, & seeing the changes. I think I'm good with it. Satisfied with it, not so much. I always point myself upward, so I'll keep improving. But yes, I'm good with where I've been to where I am now.

010

PenroseVT 🖋️🌹 @penrosevt.me · 17/05/2025

It might not seem like improvement & might feel like you're just standing still. But other people will see it & in time, you'll look back & realize how far you've come.

PenroseVT 🖋️🌹 @penrosevt.me · 17/05/2025

But even small steps make a huge difference. I guess that's the point of this 5am rant. It's okay to take baby steps as long as those steps are still moving you forward.

100

PenroseVT 🖋️🌹 @penrosevt.me · 17/05/2025

It's just interesting looking back at the models I used before. Even the different premades were an improvement upon each other. I know people get discouraged because some folks get a new custom model or outfits and it feels like you might be getting left behind.

100

PenroseVT 🖋️🌹 @penrosevt.me · 17/05/2025

And also I upgraded to premades that were done later and I think that's also a factor in how it looks now. Because the premades were done with newer versions of Live2D with more rigging options.

100

PenroseVT 🖋️🌹 @penrosevt.me · 17/05/2025

I pulled out my very first model the other day. I haven't used it in years. The art is still cute, but man, the rigging is sooo bad. The thing is... I think it's more a product of the time and my own ignorance of the vtuber world rather than the fact that I got it done on Fiverr.

PenroseVT 🖋️🌹 @penrosevt.me · 14/05/2025

I'm running a little late because of work, but we're live, my loves. We're gonna yap a little and then we're diving back into Rebirth. twitch.tv/penrosevt

So we’re gonna work on the not good enough part. I’ve got a ton of projects I’ve been working on but seeing my model come to life is really motivational in a terrifying sort of way.

020

PenroseVT 🖋️🌹 @penrosevt.me · 14/05/2025

As debut day comes ever closer, I realize I’m entirely not ready. Y’all. I’m sitting here looking at videos of the rigging from my model mama, and I’m so blown away. My brain is like…. Girl you’re not good enough for this model. 😂

020

PenroseVT 🖋️🌹 @penrosevt.me · 14/05/2025

Can I run more than one at a time? Not really but I’m working on it.

010

PenroseVT 🖋️🌹 @penrosevt.me · 14/05/2025

Now that I’m halfway through Rebirth, I started playing Yuffie’s DLC in Remake. I know, I’m backwards but hey, it’s fiiiine. It’s really just nice being able to install more than one game at a time now.

It’s truth that hating on things sells. Hate is an easy fire to spread. It’s also true that those of us who chose a different energy probably won’t have as far a reach or as intense a response and that’s a choice we make, because that’s the energy we want to put out there in the world.

NaNoWriMo shutting down after 25 years. I met some of my best friends b/c of Nano. I published several stories I wrote during November events. I didn't do it the last few years b/c of the AI stuff & just not having enough time, but I'll always remember my time there fondly. youtu.be/TR6NnjgeIIY?...

Tomorrow is my last stream as Suzetalks. I’m excited and terrified. Rebranding is hard and scary. New model isn’t done yet but I decided it was going to be too stressful to do all the changes at once. So it’ll be mostly gradual, and I’m hoping it’ll all be complete by the time my new model is done.

Yay! Ok, that makes me happy because I've really wanted to play Witcher 3. The idea of starting yet another multiple game franchise makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry... And then play them all... and then curl back up in a ball and rock like I've lost my mind.
