Another Saturday and despite my body saying ‘ah heck no’ I went to #Parkrun A little faster than last week’s time but that’s because I slimmed down the walk breaks. I didn’t tell my long suffering husband this until we got home 😂 Huge thanks to the volunteers this week 🧡

#Parkrun done. Course is 5km, my watch said I ran 4.99, my Strava says 4.98 😂😂😂 Nearly died again. Hills aren’t getting easier but had some juice left to run to the finish! Huge thanks to all the Parkrun volunteers 🧡

One of the best investments I’ve made. I swim during public swim sessions & always make it known to lifeguards that I can’t hear properly (if they need me to move lanes etc) but staff change & the message isn’t always passed on. Ok, not everyone will notice the message but it’s a start 😂 #swimmer

One thing though…I have #hearingloss & find it a bit tricky to hear all of the briefing when people all around are chatting through it, I guess I need to stand right near the RD next time?

I had the clever idea of looking to see if I could rent a local bike hanger space to store my daughters bike while she’s away (there’s no safe outside space here & she has no space where she is). There’s a waiting list of 21 people all wanting the same thing. I’ve given up on that idea 😂
