Congratulations to former Penn ID Fellow and ID Attending, Dr. Alyssa Mezochow, who was awarded a K grant!! He project is entitled, “Impact of Mechanical Circulatory Support and Microbiome Change on Outcomes in Heart Transplant Recipients.” This is an incredible accomplishment!

The Med-Peds ID program is a 4-year joint program between HUP & CHOP. When they finish, our Med-Peds ID fellows are expertly trained to manage infections throughout life stages. Bonus - CHOP and HUP are all on the same campus (and CHOP has the best cafeteria!)

Fellows have several opportunities to pursue an advanced degree research training program, such as the Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology (MSCE), one of the nation’s top offerings in clinical research training. MSCE grads are poised for academic research careers across a disciplines.
