In the latest Emissions Inventory in #AlleghenyCounty, 98% of H2S emissions came from one company — U.S. Steel. Allegheny County Health Department has previously identified that they had no evidence of anyone else but U.S. Steel contributing to these H2S exceedances.

To lower consumer costs we need to increase the supply of the lowest-marginal-cost generation like wind & solar. Where possible, data centers should look to energy storage systems rather than dirty diesel generators to provide emergency backup.
