Option three: Scream "WAR'S NOT OVER DEY DREW FIRST BLOOD" at the top of your lungs and keep fighting regardless of who's in your way.

Fan/OC char bio for @lewinus.bsky.social 's #pros&cons webcomic. A slightly less hinged version of Sune. Inspired by @felisthealien.bsky.social making one of these. #ocsky #art

I don't think there's enough money in webcomics in the first place. It's not a field people get into for the money, readers are used to things being free. Also, Comicfury, to my understanding, is a nonprofit passion project with a lot of traction. That's also hard to compete with.

penguinpyro @penguinpyro.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Well, that about lines up with my experience. My brief attempt at a webcomic last year got a few responses on comicfury, more than a few on webtoons, but absolutely no activity on Tapas.

That and foxes don't get along great with cats anyways.

I like the implication that Umee is among the immediately rampaging soldiers. I guess he built up a lot of steam to take out on the planet.

More character redesigns. Irkalla (smokebender), Gila (white dragon), Kim (watermelon monster) and Bean (crystal murder fairy). #ocsky #art #oc

Thanks! I tried to adapt her usual welding mask to a anthro canine face and stick it on a helmet like Umee's. Also, if she were in the VAC, I suspect Maj. Pratchett wouldn't have the strength to open her eyes.

Rose, a martial artist who developed control over wood and plants. She is a survivor from the same monastic order as Irkalla (previous post) and is much more focused on revenge against the people who did it. #oc #ocsky #art

Irkalla, a martial artist who fights with meteor hammers. Lost her hearing from an attack that destroyed most of her monastic order. She twists her monastic healing arts into a killing art and is otherwise self-taught by observation and imitation, which is a rare talent. #oc #art #ocsky
