I also accept donations through Ko-Fi. I feel a bit embarrassed to have to rely on your generosity because I’m struggling financially. But I want to keep drawing. Even a small amount would be a big help to me. ko-fi.com/penett

Ever since I stumbled across the Capcom-style #Fallout New Vegas 1st companions image below, I've been a fan of Penett. More cool work is on @penettanonymous.bsky.social - there's a range of great stuff - and if you run a games company, consider hiring this concept artist. : )

words like that really makes me feel like I’m floating on air. When I’m able to bring out a character that’s only vaguely in someone’s mind through communication and compromise, all the fatigue I’ve been feeling melts away like snow.

Once again, I’d like to thank everyone who has requested a commission me—those who have requested one in the past, those who are requesting one now, and everyone who will request one in the future. It’s because of you that I can keep my dreams. Thank you!!

But now, I’m able to fulfill that passion, at least to some extent. All of this is, thanks to the people who commission my work. If it weren’t, I might have given up drawing, thinking, “Is drawing actually causing harm to me and those around me?” I’ve wanted to express my gratitude for a long time.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t continue pursuing this passion. As an unemployed, I couldn’t cover my fixed expenses—rent, food, phone bills, and so on.

I still love character design. I always want to create work where a character’s story is reflected in its appearance. If possible, it would be even better if the character’s appearance harmonized with the gameplay.

I’ve been working in the concept art at game industry in S.Korea for about nine years. However, in 2024, my latest company closed down, and that career came to an end.
